Amica is the best!

I had a bad car accident in March.Amica responded immediately to my report and was totally helpful and supportive in providing me with help to rent a car while I waited for the damage to be assessed and for a very fair settlement when it was determined that my car was totalled. Thank you Amica!

I never have to worry about remembering…

I never have to worry about remembering payments or having a policy lapse. My husband always took care of these things but when he died I was lost. Thank goodness I have Amica to always remind me.

Amica customers for over 30 years

We have been insured by Amica for over 30 years and our experience has been exceptional. We have had our share of fender benders and a couple of bigger traffic accidents and Amica always went above the call of duty. Amica's customer service is top-notch.

Raised my rate $20 per month after 6…

Raised my rate $20 per month after 6 months of being a customer despite clean driving record and no claims.

Bogus response to this review “that they already had made a request to raise rates”when I enlisted 6 months ago. Stay away!

SCAMICA

We have only had our auto insurance with Amica for four months and they are already increasing our premium when the insurance renews in October. We were led to believe we were eligible for a 15% discount when it renewed and got a 5% increase instead. I call them SCAMICA.

Still charging monthly installment fees…

Still charging monthly installment fees for those not privileged enough to be able to pay their entire premium up front and in the wake of increasing/premiums. Amica advertises that they have billions of dollars on hand ‘just in case’. I can’t imagine that an installment fee would be necessary in light of the ever increasing premiums you charge.

Like Amica

Like Amica and will keep it but I do think their prices are higher than some other insurances

Excellent service for nearly 40 years now

We have had our auto insurance with Amica since the 1980s and have had excellent service. One bodywork shop employee observed that Amica was one of the best insurance companys for them to work with.

Trusted company that stands behind its…

Trusted company that stands behind its clients in times of need and has always been quick to resolve issues. Only once was there an issue on a car re[pair and it was resolved immediately upon contacting the company. While it is understood that the cost of insuring has risen, the current rates are getting a bit more "challenging."

The best customer service

Fast and efficient service after our car was damaged.

Someone smashed into the rear of our car doing $9,000 in damages. The agent at Amica was fast and efficient in getting us set up with a local repair shop they had worked with before and trusted. We got a rental car right away. The repair shop and rental agency dealt with the financial side of the repairs/rental so we didn't have to do anything one we got the car back.

It's hard to know where to start

It's hard to know where to start. My parents' HO ins. was canceled because their previous insurer was leaving the state. Nobody else would write coverage. But Amica was willing to. That's a HUGE plus right there. They are widely known for their customer service, and they didn't disappoint on that score either. The agent I spoke with was incredibly helpful, diligent, well-informed, and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing but the highest praise for the whole experience (I should add that I've been an auto and HO customer for 45 years, and that's been top-notch as well).
